Local Learning Opportunities

“Crafting Your Equity Lens” is the first step to begin building the world you want to experience.  There are five key components we teach in our workshop to help you craft your Equity Lens:

  1. Understand your Ideas / Thoughts of Community
  2. Review Your Own Bias and Implicit Bias
  3. Introspection
  4. Deeper Reflection
  5. Creating Accountability

CGC has had the great gift of facilitating conversations about race with local nonprofits (CASA, Reclaiming Lives); school districts (Rogue River School District, Medford 549C Schools); churches (New Life Nazarene, Westminster Presbyterian), the City of Ashland, police departments (currently working with CPPD), Jackson County Library Services, and more.
We continue to experience and witness the transformative power of truthful storytelling + historical facts combined with engaging conversation in a warm, safe space.  We are humbled and encouraged by the consistent feedback from participants and the actions being taken by those that participate in CGC trainings and workshops.
